Was Robert Griffin ever any good to begin with?

I am. Went to Garland High. Just thought it was a funny reference. Sounded like you went to one of our rivals. He was actually good. Stat totals were low because of injury. Garland runs a very similar system to Briles. Same route concepts. I think their current QB(Jacoby Williams) would make a good system QB for Baylor as well.

what i saw of rg3 (and really most of these spread qb's) is a guy who looked good in a 5 wr set, against man to man coverage, with lots of bubble screens where the wr did all the heavy lifting. it's the same reason i wasn't on the mariota or bortles bandwagon. those guys' learning curve is so steep it potentially overshadows their talent.
