I DONT REMEMBER THE COWBOYS
BEING HATED.
THEY WERE AMERICAS TEAM.
THE CASUALS AND BANDWAGONERS
LOVED THEM.

THE CHIEFS DIDNT REALLY
BECOME HATED UNTIL LAST SEASON
WHEN THE LEAGUE KEPT
CHEATING FOR THEM.

ITS EASILY THE PATRIOTS
AFTER THEY GOT CAUGHT CHEATING

There was no social media, not debate shows, and no cell phones in the early 90’s.

A lot of people didn’t even see all of the games because there was no high speed internet to watch.

People actually had lives outside of sports.
the cowboys was the national game of the week damn near every week cbs (1992 and 1993) Fox (1994 1995 1996) and NBC (1993 1994 1995 1996) and that's not including Monday Night Football on abc and Sunday Night Football on TNT and ESPN this is why so many people around my age ( I'm 36) are Cowboys fans that's our first memory watching the cowboys as for the original question yes the cowboy Dynasty was hated I was a kid I remember people always complaining about them being the game of the week every week on Fox or NBC especially in the 1995 1996 1997 seasons

Honestly pre-social media it seems Dynasties were more respected, had more mystique, aura and were cooler. Like people rooted for the winners. Also the Dynasties of the past seemed larger than life. Everyone was loving the Dynasty Bulls and Dynasty Cowboys in the 90's. Shoot Jerry Jones is still living off the 90's Cowboys and Jordan is a Billionaire off his success with the 90's Bulls. When I was a kid in the 80's, the Lakers and Celtics were huge. Joe Montana and the 49ers were big. Shaq/Kobe's Dynasty Lakers also didn't get a lot a hate because they were winning. The Yankees Late 90's Dynasty got a little hate but people still loved Jeter and respected that they were winning so much.

The Patriots turned the tide. They might be the least "Likeable" Dynasty in history and had a ton of scandals. People liked the Chiefs at first but the tide turned on them a few years ago. Fans were believing the refs were helping them so they started not liking them. There were a lot of people enjoying them get beat in the Bowl last year so bad. I think Steph's Dynasty Warriors didn't get as much hate because him and Klay are likeable (Draymond, lol). The Spurs only got hate for being "Boring" but people liked Tim Duncan. Also their Championships were spread out so it wasn't like other Dynasties. It's the reality of sports. Nobody wants to see a Team winning for long. If the Eagles continue winning more Super Bowls, they will get more hate too. Social Media ruined it for future Dynasties.

Yea. I am going to disagree with that. The Cowboys got fans all over the country because of that run in the 90s. They are definitely hated less than the Patriots or the Chiefs.

Nah the Cowboys didn’t start being hated until the Romo/Jessica Simpson Skip Bayless/ESPN Dallas era. When I was a kid they were like the second favorite team of everyone like the Bulls. Obviously Philly fans hated their guts but it wasn’t like it is now. Jurry wasn’t all up in the video yet. Also NFL was regional so you’d see the Cowboys once a year if that.

Nothing will equal how much people hated the Patriots. Chiefs still have Andy Reid who is probably the most likable coach ever.

Cowboys didn't have to cheat like the other 2, they blow your ass out the water so folks had to bow down :wow:

Cowboys fans had haters that bred a culture of hosting them in 2025 still.

Y'all tripping..No one likes Dallas but Dallas fans.

As I Giants fan I hated them because they thwarted every God damn playoff run we had back then
But everyone else love them hoes

In fact they were loved so much that I don't even hate them now I'm just glad they can't dominate us anymore I've learned to actually respect the brand....
