Feels like I missed out. No violence, just custom cars, bad women, and a lil street racing. :noah:My dad told they used to do it in Chicago near some old warehouses but they shut it down after guns became apart of it.

From what I understand it ain't the same with these young cats. They're not as creative. Not to mention violence and the street takeovers getting everybody kicked out.

Japan might still be doing it, but that's all I know. Maybe I'll find me a crew some day.

A little. Just less high heels and less neon. Used to have a mixed crowd in my city. Lotta Hondas, few guys would bring out an Evo or a Supra occasionally. Had some guys bring out mustangs, Camaros, GTO's, audis, BMWs. Lotta guys were known for what they drove and that's all. Went to a good one on Atlanta once that was mostly old schools. Whole lotta bowties. Things were better and more interesting before the hellcat and 392 era.

No violence

There was plenty of violence. I was there before it popped off, during, and after.

Disrespecting someone's car was worse than disrespecting someone's mom or girl. And a lot of dudes were there with their girl or trying to impress girls so there was barely any lettin shyt slide.

You had people that bought their cars fully kitted out vs people who took a baseline and upgraded it on their own, you had people who worked and hustled and put their own into their cars and people who used their parents money, you had brand loyalists. People driving Toyota that would shyt on people driving hondas, people driving Nissans that would shyt on people driving Toyotas then the people who came thru in mustangs and other American cars. And don't get me started on racism.

The meetups my dad went to didn't have violence

Crazy how times change. Anyway I'm better off finding a private crew to do meetups or just move to Japan :noah:

Anytime there's conflict it can escalate to violence.

There's always conflict. If it's a cruise where a bunch of people meet up and ride out that's usually less because you just ride and park and chill with your individual crew.

But pop ups and show outs, someone's always like "that's a gay ass spoiler!" "Those rims are ugly!" And the typical response is "fukk you" "where's your car at?" "You can't afford this"

That's everywhere. That's just how the scene is. You got cats looking at each other's cars. Many looky loo ass mfs that ride with their friends and can't afford or don't got it.

Mfs trying to prove their worth or show they're tough.

@Ezekiel 25:17 how old are you breh? No shade just wondering.

The car/bike scene is very much alive and thriving in fort Lauderdale and Miami. I got pics and videos from the 2 years I lived there
