she’s not a housewife if she has to pay half of the bills and he wouldn’t be a house husband if he did those things half of the time.

Except the woman in question isn't a housewife if she has a job as well.
I dont agree she'd have to pay half of everything if she was a stay at home mom. However , she is pulling income herself. There should be parts she should be paying, not just leaving it all to the husband.

if it's feasible for her to pay half, then she should... fukk all the extra shyt. that discretionary money the husband makes could be dumped into index funds or stable investments to eventually benefit both rather than just paying bills because she doesn't want to pay half... nah. :mjtf:

this is why i can only date certain types of established women...

also, cooking and cleaning are overrated attributes for a spouse in 2020. gonna need a little more than that to justify not grinding. i got cleaners in my house every two weeks minus any headaches like this:mjlol:

The Truth
Good for him

Idk about half but chick doesn’t want to pay anything can gtfoh and go do her dumb shyt on her own all she wants.

and not every chick is expected just to cook and clean. He’s having her pay half so I’m sure he does half too. I’m sure she expects him to do than man-side of shyt around the house, then “help” with the woman’s stuff (which is just cooking and cleaning), then pay most of the bills...

that’s usually how that goes. I’m sure they discussed it before getting together as well...

so bye chick

She was right. This is unfair in any situation tbh. He makes double what she makes, he should be paying more.

That’s punishing success. He didn’t bust his ass and get his money up just to have to end up with more financial obligation.

Maybe she needs to make more. She might complain about spending money a lot less

The hubby won. Yall nikkas in here :cape: for the wife would have all types of shyt to say if he piad for everything then she took him to the cleaners in a divorce.

Speaking for myself ... just because she's right doesn't mean he's wrong.

It just means she's right. Again, standards and principles. That's all this is. Standards and principles. She stood on hers and he seemed to do the same for his.

So that means youre cool with female breadwinners paying child support/alimony after a divorce correct?
Y’all always ask these dumb, redundant questions. I’m cool with any non-custodial parent paying child support. What, you thought I was going to say that moms shouldn’t have to take care of their kids? :unimpressed:

Y’all keep on talking about busting his ass, and he probably has a desk job:what:And maybe she is working on getting a new job. But if he’s making 60k, and she’s making 30k, no it’s not fair that they split finances equally. Their pay isn’t equal. It’s really that simple.

It says she left her husband.

Husband.

So I have to ask if they were living together before getting married and if they discussed this sort of thing.

But here is one reality...
If you are paying 500 of a 1000 rent, and you're letting that ego put you into an apartment paying 1000 by yourself...did you really do the smart thing?

Hey. To each his own

Reason why I'm all about no labels, once you're "boyfriend" or "husband" all of sudden you're supposed to meet all these unrealistic expectations such as paying for everything :mjlol:
And help mend her previous financial fuccups.

"Girl, I got this old parking ticket and they're gonna send it collections"

Her friends egging her on like: "You got a man don't you? He's supposed to be helping you."

The ticket is 6 months old
The relationship is 3 months old

The ticket came from her being parked in a no parking zone while she was at her ex-boyfriend's crib. :childplease:

They both win with her leaving imo :manny:

This.....there's no free lunch...

The only exception is if she is a stay at home mom or has kids and works and takes on the majority of house work.

But if she ain't got no kids any she wants to keep more money, then she should get a second job, other then that...:camby:
