Was there a more underrated,disrespected eh than Darren Sharper?

You never hear his name mentioned with the great safety's of recent. I heard more ppl talk about him ass will demps than sharper. When the ball was in the air, nobody found it more than sharper. Even later in his career he was still effective ball hawk.

But his name never gets mentioned in company with the Dawkins, Reed, Woodson, mike browns, that's safety in Pittsburgh , John lynch, and Adrian Wilson. I remember being made the cowboys didn't go after him when he was a free agent and we t to Minnesota.

Maybe cuz he played long tenures with his franchise but I always was a fan of due especially when Iived in Milwaukee and even up there his name wasn't heard a lot especially in comparison to Mackenzie, al Harris, and KGB.

I think he was underrated somewhat but he was respected too and most probably would consider him elite. He made 6 All Pro teams in an era that was deep with great safeties so I think he got his just due in the long run.

He may not have been talked about like Troy and Ed were but he was always respected and his name was usually mentioned when top playmakers were discussed.
