So yeah obviously ppl made some good chill RnB since and admittedly I don't really check for new music like that ... But was this the last big RnB hit to be an all-time slow jam in the vein of Sade/The Isley Brothers?Prince etc? I might be forgetting one or two but none really come to mind ...

:patrice:A good one and a hit for sure but not a sensual epic like Primetime IDK ...

Janelle and Miguel really brought back that old school feeling, same energy as stuff like:

I know what you mean. I consider those songs u posted as soul music like a sub genre of R&B boo’d up gives a strong early 2000s vibe I could hear that alongside Amerie and Ashanti easy

Although I still favor the 70's slow jams, I think Black people will always have the talent to put out a nice slow jam hear and there, at any given time. Although I don't listen to the radio, and I'm not all that familiar with music artists as much, I can still hear a nice slow song that I heard for the first time, although it came out several years ago.

Although this may not be totally related to the topic, I listen to a lot of Hebrew Israelite videos, and some of them create their own music at the beginning, that sound very very nice, and they're not even love songs. It shows you just how much hidden talent we have in the Black community. People will actually pay for those sounds.

Here's an example of a nice slow jam that came out within the last 10 years that I'm just now hearing, or it somehow slipped my mind. These kinda hits will never go away. To me, as long as we're here, there never will be a last classic slow jam.
