What election?

This Turkish government and their oppression of the Kurds need to gtfo :scust:
The Kurds are an opportunistic bunch, willing to ally themselves with anyone and do what ever it takes to have an independent state. Is Turkey meant to apologize for trying to keep its sovereignty.

@Solomon Caine do you think the Turkish government was responsbile for the bombing of the Kurds/leftist rally last month? Or just some right wing nationalist groupthat the gov influenced?

I'm not really following Turkish politics, but its possible. They have allowed fighters to cross into Syria and back, many of them IS fighters. So its not impossible for Turkey. Or maybe it was some Grey Wolves type group like you mentioned. I don't think its ISIS personally.

Marred by corruption according to some reports with them closing down news stations in the run up. Not sure if the news station thing could be national law in regards to voting policy though. I think Turkey has always been pretty corrupt from what I've read.

Surely not to this extent though.

I'd have a hard time pointing you in the right direction on my phone but but if you were to look into assassinations, "deep state", the government, military figures, Glaido, slush funds, drugs and weapon smuggling you'd find some odd things between 1970 and now. A lot of the things then still are carrying on to this day albeit with some different characters but it should be seen as a continuation.

Some interesting wikis would be:
Susurluk car crash
Susurluk scandal
Ergenekon

And then following the players... and scandals forwards.

While I was in Turkey I was told about them. They haven't established an alphabet for their language, is what I was told about it

The military was pretty corrupt.

Erdogan may be feeling himself (and even more now that AKP won a lot in this election) but the military era had more corruption and fukked up shid going on

Voter turnout was damn near 90%. Most Turks still remember what things were like before AKP came to power 12-13 years ago.

Was it rigged?? You mean to tell me Erdrogan would actually let the Kurdish HDP party win an election then youre a fool. They had millions of unexplained votes. Polling stations closed way earlier than expected. Not to mention arresting members of the HDP Kurdish parties and attacking Kurdish towns and villages to deter them from showing up in such strong numbers. OH, not to mention openly supporting the Jihad in Syria. Theres been scores of Turkey's MIT intelligence embedded with "REBELS" so thats nothing new.
