For the folks who live in Oklahoma,Arkansas and Kansas... many of them cared more about College basketball than the NBA.... or they were the types who liked the NBA, but didn't really have a team.

I grew to become a Thunder fan mostly from admiring Kevin Durants talent.

I'm a F.I.B.A basketball fan because K.D always comes to ball, don't matter if its a game at Rucker park

The Hornets after Katrina. Them nikkas was ruthless trying to take away the team from New Orleans. A few were even mad that they were getting KD & the Sonics, they would have rather CP3 and the Hornets.

I didnt have any particular team but I did enjoy the Western conference the most and those were the main games I watched. They're just the one team that eventually clicked with me

I like how the fans pulled for em no matter what and the college like atmosphere for a team with young budding stars
