Watch the Throne is kind of a shytty album

Used to be a huge fan of it, and I still cant deny the bangers, but none of the tracks strike the right mood... Like the whole album has an off-putting vibe to it.

Think this is because its really uneven, and the melodies are too over the top.

Also Ye and Jayt DO NOT strike the right balance between socially conscious and braggadocio.. They sound like such a$$holes on the album .

No Church In The Wild is still one of the hardest tracks of the last 5 years though

This is the biggest problem of the album. Album sounds like two rich guys rapping about being rich 90% of the time.

For all the greatness that Hov and Ye could've brought to the table there, I felt it was pretty average. I thought it was gonna be my favorite album that year. I found myself only really fukkin' with like 4-5 joints off of it. Tracks were all over the place, and half of the content seemed mad forced.

I can't even remember the last time I listened to it.
