Lived in Memphis from 2 to 17. Got a lot of memories. I loved everything about that city. Deep down I think I'm a southern cat.

My folks from Chicago but I always gotta rep Memphis:mjcry:I'd probably move back if sht change and became 90s Atlanta 2.0

People think I’m joking when I tell them Hustle & Flow is the only movie I ever cried while watching.

damn what scene?

It’s been hella long since I watched the movie, but it was during one of those redemption moments after all the trials and things were going right. It hit me different cause I worked alongside and had alot of artistic friends who tried to make it throughout my life. Some of them extremely talent, but I was experiencing all the failures and uphill battles first hand with them. The movie did a great job capturing that feeling of finally getting headway, which is a moment none of them ever got. Terrance Howard was great in that movie and it just hit me in a different way. Damn near getting in my feelings typing this. Will have to pull the movie back up to be more exact on the scene, but for sure dropped a tear in the theater.
