I always loved this movie but I never understood why De Niro goes back to murk the dude at the hotel. His whole motto was never get attached to anything you can't leave behind on a moments notice. That was his whole way of living. Then at the end he fukks up after he was home free.

He couldn't take that dude killing his friend and him getting away like that. It kind of reminded me of Django when when Shultz shot Leo after all that preaching he did about not letting shyt get personal.

I mean if you watched it..and understood, and didn't get why De Niro went back, you're missing a lot of the movie, who is character was, what motivated him.

One of my favorite movies, but that last scene is so hard to watch, esp. when he chooses between his principles and the women he loves...man 'when you feel the heat around the corner...'

Sometimes, your subconscious reminds you of what you're all about, but then as you're thinking about the facts, It's like a nikka is stepping on your toes as your brain is thinking "I hate when somebody steps on my toes".
Subconscious triggers the "unless" of your brain.

I blabbed but I know some nikka is gonna make sense of this :ohlawd:

:comeon: The entire film he was super careful and recited countless lines about picking up and leaving everything behind when you feel the heat. He was home free but let that sucker bother him too much to ignore.

De Niro was a loyal nikka. Even if he thought his principles outweighed that. Some shyt you just can't let slide.
