half of them couldn't even make it through Green Hill Zone. I still remember a previous vid they made where none of them could beat Glass Joe in Punch-out
Just the utter lack of any kind of pattern recognition is beyond to me.

I hate to sound but it feels like games today really ARE easier. Also, 2D games don't seem to be as widespread/common as they used to be, so nobody's used to playing them anymore. Just a guess...

when I was little I had trouble with the third part of green hill zone with the spinning log

always fukked up the timing, but eventually I got passed it and from then on it was smooth sailing
