That said the premise is flawed right from the opening scene. First off the battles are completely decided by 1 or 2 very good dancers who do the spinaroonis and handstands. All the team's choreographed moves fall to the wayside just for them to do their thing solo. Why dont these people seperate and form a crew of nothing but spinners if those are the most exciting for the crowd's judgement
Speaking of which, judging the dance battles based off cheers is a system prone to bias and mistakes. Most of the time people will cheer for both just to be part of the crowd. And it encourages the above behavior where grandstanding and showboating will elicit better reactions than actual routines. There must be a better way.
And David lying through his teeth about hollering at Leah was fukked up
And the dancing aged as well as the slang.
