I know I've ranted on here ad nauseum about the trials of fatherhood but man these kids grow so fast. My 4 year old is at the stage where he's becoming independent and he's always saying "nooo daddy let me do it"

My eldest son learning responsibility and pride. He be trying to put on his shirt and end up tryna put his head through the sleeve and get frustrated cause he got it wrong but I'll take it off and encourage him to try again
And he'd finally get it and he'll be so excited "look daddy, I did it
My 2 year old finally getting the hang of potty training. He woke up like at 11pm one night and I heard his door open so I jump outta bed like wtf going on out here and I see my lil guy in the bathroom struggling tryna pull down his pants and pullup. I walk up and he look up at me with them big eyes and say "daddy pee pee". I help him get his pants down and he struggling to climb up on the toilet. But he sat down and peed. I was so proud
They both emulate every thing I do. They be repeating everything I say. My mannerisms. Putting on my shoes tryna walk in them. They be singing like me. It's beautiful. A father and his boys
Never take that shyt for granted
