Has anyone ever water fast, and if so,for how long? Im thinking about doing an extended fast to lose around a 100 or more pounds. I just dont want to die doing this fast.

I did it for a work week. Not sure if I lost lbs but felt smaller. I surprisingly had hella energy and felt cleaner if that makes sense. My skin is always clear so didnt see any changes there.

I add probiotics and powder collagen peptides to my water in the mornings.

Haven't done a water fast, but last spring, I started drinking just the right amount of water and was back down to fighting weight within weeks. Everything else was the same.

What were the initial effects. Like did you start to feel sluggish in the beginning?
If you have not done it before then yes you will bad for the first few days, but it will go away. If you do it for more than 4-5 days you will have to start taking in potassium and sodium to make up for the electrolyte loss.

Any other supplements? Im thinking about taking the leap. This could be a spiritual journey

That's freaky as shyt as this topic was made. I was recently into this shyt too. I was fasting for 48 hours. Just drank water and ate an apple once a day. On the third day I have no energy and break the fast by eating some Haitian food. I think to fix the energy problem you need to drink black coffee (no milk, no sugar).

I intend to restart the fasting right now. While also doing some HIIT once a day. I think the combo of HIIT + fasting would result in dramatic weight loss.

Fasting is typically done in many foreign cultures (i.e.: African, Muslim, Jewish, Asian). So the concept is frown upon in Western societies. So you'll get many negative responses here.

Fasting for a whole month is very difficult. You first need to start small. Fast for 3 days, then eat. Fast for 5 days, then eat. Fast for a week, etc. There's a whole online community about it: willingly abstaining for a period of time

Fasting for religious reasons is one thing, fasting as a weight loss method is another.

Long term its a silly proposition that likely won’t yield sustainable results.
