And yet our idiot fukking government still subsidizes California rice farmers who have to grow rice in artificial swamps and then beg Japan to buy it from them, who only stores it in giant factories until they need to donate food aid cause Japanese people won't eat American rice anyway. :francis:

Yet California doesn't think it's time to slow down almond production. Why because they're making tax profits off the Resnick family to take state water for their various businesses controlling water.

Once that family controls enough land or use up enough water they can make the state and private buyers pay them for water
