It won't happen. What you're likely to see is a sharp increase in political assassinations. During times of existential crises, you see people popping up with nothing to lose and a lot to say and they finna talk with weapons.

A water crisis should not be possible when there are desalination technologies that turn salt water into fresh water. Vertical farms and GMO crops that need less water to produce a high yield. The technology and means to do it is there. We could have genetically modified trees that suck up more carbon than the regular kind. We can integrate plants into new buildings to cool them and pull out carbon from the atmosphere. We can be significantly smarter with how we use the limited amount of water that's on earth.

The problem is the political actors and the men with money. The politicians are beholden to the money men and the money men aren't willing to inconvenience themselves in the slightest even if it means the existence of humanity continuing.

So what you'll see is more assassinations because people won't want to wait anymore for action. You might see eco fascist groups winning elections and you might potentially in the worst case scenario see France style revolutions where anyone making over 80k is a target.

Desalination is an option but the energy requirements are enormous. It just takes a tremendous amount of energy cost to produce a similar unit of fresh water. Unless you running these desalination plants with nuclear power it’s going to become cost prohibitive. The higher cost of water will cause everything else to rise astronomically.

At the end of the day it’s an option but not a economically feasible one.

When human existence is at risk there is no such thing as 'cost' people forget all the time that our entire economic system is made up. That paper in your wallet and the ones and zeros on screen telling you that 'money' exists in your bank account is made up. It only means something because we decide as a collective that it does.

I'm saying people who are watching cities sink and who are seeing grocery prices soar aren't trying to hear some 'it cost too much' after two wars and bank bailouts that have cost the American tax payer literally trillions of dollars. Right now all coal power plants need to be getting scaled down while the miners transition to uranium and battery metal mining. The staff working in the plants should be getting trained for nuclear, tidal, solar, and geothermal power plants. The brine produced from desalination can hold electric charges and be used in preserving wind and solar power that is unused in batteries which can then also power the desalination tech.

That's when you need a president to step in and get ALL the dark money dudes out of the paint.

This shyt is treason, and I don't give a fukk how many billions of dollars you have, if I tell the whole country on the biggest megaphone that all civilians have the freedom to kill said billionaire. Remove the ability for courts to prosecute government sanctioned civilian hits or simply promise the would be killer that you would use every option possible to keep them free. Matter of fact, 20 million goes to your family straight from government funds.

You wanna know what these super rich billionaires do fear, DEATH.

Let's say I get into office. The very first thing I will say after inauguration is that this world has suffered enough damage from this man, he is responsible for everything wrong with this country. He is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths of Americans and more.

Civilians will be offered 20 million if you kill him. Meaning, any worker at Mara Lago who is hungry us an option. The crooked creepy uncle molester looking Roger Stone dude would take that cash. The fat pudgy shady looking criminal dude too. I can't remember his name.

Point being, you show the billionaires that you don't give a fukk about following a constitution, y'all can reinstall that shyt after my term is up.

Dark money political financers will be barred from America and they are now criminals of the state, guilty of treason. If you step foot in this country again you will be killed immediately. Your money can't buy you protection when literally any friend or foe might be willing to take the hit.

However, if you want to go back to living a normal life then you gotta cough up 25% of your wealth. Do you know how many billionaires are behind this dark money shyt?

Now America, ALL that money goes straight to THE PEOPLE. Everybody in the country that's not in the million dollar tax bracket gets a portion. Adjusted by wherever you fall at between 0-1,000,000$ tax bracket.

Who wouldn't rock with this?

Politicians :russ:. Nah, they would be fukkin shook. fukk them

They also need to create a platform that can rise up and down from space orbit in order to have an emergency plan to create some type of thing that can shade the sun and lower temperature if that becomes our last option.

The platform can also help us get rid of dangerous nuclear material we can't get rid of. Y'all know we literally have nuclear waste storages sealed up by concrete underground, accident waiting to happen. Launching them in rockets was actually considered in the past :heh:.

We can also get rid of some this massive amount of plastic we can't get rid of. A platform that raises and lowers would be useful as fukk for a lot of reasons.

That would be a pretty easy fix. Take the waste material and attach it to a satellite and send it to space. There actually might even be ways of using the waste so you could potentially have massive satellites with 16k cameras powered by a mix of solar and nuclear energy flying around the edges of our solar system taking and sending photos and videos back to us while keeping the waste out of earth.

There are things called power buoys that use electricity generated from ocean waves. You can create a fish farm that is monitored by drones underwater powered by these buoys that grow fish and plankton that eats carbon. We could probably even genetically engineer small plants that can break down microplastics.

We could have giant drones flying over earth doing cloud seeding and carbon capture operations and flying over the arctic to pour coolant into the water. We could take all these cruise ships from these cruise businesses that have gone under from the virus and re engineer them as nuclear powered arctic icebreakers that cool the ice sheets in the arctic and help generate glaciers.

None of this shyt happening until these billionaires and their friends in politics either grow up and take one for the team(the team being all of humanity) or some group of fed up eco terrorists start murkin them left right and centre until they realize that they too can be touched and the time for stalling is over.

That’s a lose/lose situation. If they normalize the technology to make salt water safe to drink, those oceans will be empty in no time, fukking with the greedy people in this world. The United States would try to find a way to take over and capitalize off of every drop of that water. We would know very quickly if the Mariana Trench is truly the deepest spot in the ocean.
That’s not the issue. 70% of earth is salt water…we won’t run out anytime soon. The problem is the energy required to turn salt water into drinking water is immense, and you have to dispose of the salt somewhere. It’s possible and yes we should get more serious about it. But it’s not easy.

I get all that and I understand that 70% of the earth is water, but I still think what I said is a major problem, given the history of our country. You mean to tell me you don't think the USA would find a way to damn near drain the oceans if it came down to money (capitalism)?

We will definitely see privatizations of water sources but desalination will solve a lot of problems.
