wats up with adding a yes or no button

I think it would be cool. Just like a dap button, but it's yes or no. A lot of times people post ?'s that a simple yes or no would be nice.

Ex. Is Redman a member of Wutang?

Then a poster/poster daps the Yes or No button.

Because a lot of times I see ?'s ask that I kno the answers to. It's just sometimes I don't want to quote just to say yes or no.

Maybe it's me. But I think this would be a nice feature

I think it would add bloat to the forum to add something like this. Dapping, replying, multi-quoting is something that could be done on potentially every post, a Yes/No is not so it doesn't seem essential. It would also likely get abused, instead of answering a yes/no question people would use it as form of negging, dapping. ie. "Dapped, undapped, yes'ed, no'ed, negged, 1 starred"

yeah i think the effort to develop something like that wouldn't be worth it for the limited amount of use something like that is designed for. we're also not going to be paying for any custom features for the coli until the next generation of the forum software comes out. we're on 1.3 right now and 2.0 was just announced as being in the early stages of development which means custom features will have to be re-coded for the next version.

I kno it sound silly. But another forum I visit has this feature. It's actually cool how they implement it. But tall prolly right it won't work wit this forum

They could just add a poll with yes/no options. Seems like it would cheapen the forum experience.
