I remember explicitaly in 8th grade folks found out these two dudes did coke and folks used to stay roasting them and call them gay.

I remember in HS popping pills was seen as something gay folks and white people did.

It wasnt until I got to college and folks got on that “white boy wasted rockstar” crap did pills become somewhat “acceptable”.

I always felt that if you are Black in america and you were doing drugs other than weed after 1993 you were an idiot and i dont care what happens to you. We made it out the crack era and you became a “new” j then you deserve to die :yeshrug:

^^^^ all of this.

But another reply people will ignore just so they can argue

Somebody made a thread the other day about infiltrators and agents on here...discussions like this seriously make me wonder :ohhh:

I’ve literally said 3 times now, that Memphis was on that “funky town” in the 90’s...3 times.

And you go ahead post one of the songs from a Memphis artist as your argument anyway.

But again, I never saw anybody my age doing it, I’ve never even heard it - also none of my old friends/classmates are addicts...some drink too much but not drug addicts
U said tha messages were covert, so i posted some explicit songs:yeshrug:

& exactly at tha bolded. U just weren't in those circles to know about tht type of shyt.

Whenever i see these kinds of threads it reminds of ignorant cacs who think America just now developed a race problem when Obama was in office & Trayvon Martin got killed.

Why can't you admit that your limited world view is the only reason you ain't understanding...lol

If you used any sort of logical reasoning you wouldn't even be disputing what people who have been in those circles are saying.

alcoholic :hula: drug addict same fukking thing

I didn’t say covert, you interpreted it that way...you’re also being weird and pointing out one aspect of the culture

We’re they on powder on the west coast, in ATL, NYC? The Midwest? What I’m speaking on is the entire culture...our most influential artists wasn’t on that.

One of the most influential artists of this era is Future - I mean...:francis:

Now don’t run from my point..if we’re talking culture let’s talk about it honestly

Whoever made this thread must be hella young. :stopitslime:Back in the 80's black people in the hood started doing crack like it was just another trendy party drug just like lean or Molly before people realized how bad crack really was. Powder cocaine was a party drug that didn't have folks strung out like dopefiends so people thought crack would be the same way. Richard Pryor smoked crack. That's how he burned up. Sadat X from Brand Nubian admitted that everyone smoked crack in the hood in the 80's and Brand Nubian made one of the most iconic anti-crack Hip Hop songs of the early 90's called "Slow Down".

Nowadays, cacs are the main ones dying from dope because black people in and around most big cities where dope is widely available realized not to fukk with dope after seeing what it did to old heads in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Cacs think their white privilege can save them from opioid overdose death. No bullshyt. Because when blacks were dying from dope, white people said "that's their culture to do dope and die" without any sympathy because cacs blame any failure of the part of minorities on racial inferiority which is the backbone of white supremacist thought process.

Yeah, black rappers are dying from lean, but the average nikka can't afford a lean addiction. The appeal of lean is that it's a baller drug that broke nikkas can't afford. :feedme:Dying from lean is like dying from getting aids from fukking ten dimes a week. :troll: The only way an average nikka would die from lean is by being an idiot and mixing lean with alcohol or other drugs.

:snoop: u still tryna look at it from a hip hop perspective, open your eyes.

Tha hard drugs would be there regardless, they've been there

Nola, baltimore = brown

LA=Pcp

Bay area=thizz

Crack was nationwide

Only thing music did was bring it to tha attention of tha general public.

Which leads to unaware nikkas like yourself to believe black ppl started doing drugs in 08.

As if previous generations were some sort of elevated moral ground.

U take a nikka in tha 50s tht did heroin & put him in present day, lean&pills would be lightweight to him.

U take a la nikka in tha 70s tht smoked sherm & put him in present day, thizz would be nothing to him.

U take nikkas from tha 80s & 90s tht smoked crack rock, put em in present day, these drugs would be lightweight to them.
