Formula of this song is reminiscent of Currency allowing Freddie Gibbs to snap on the "Scottie Pippen."

Verse was alright, I prefer how he killed his verse on Big Sean's "Deep"

dope, but I don't like wayne on this type of beat
it's just too much not a wayne beat, he did well on it though.

Beat reminds me of some old WU :ohhh:
That's crazy. In the Carrollton Heist official thread I was saying I could've sworn that RZA flipped this sample somewhere before. It sounds so familiar and like something that may have been on Liquid Swords somewhere. But I'm gonna skim through the early Wu discography later this week and see.

This is factual.

We'll never get another Lollipop but we can get something else.

But part of what made Lollipop so dope was the epic ass video and hype leading up to The Carter 3.
See I'd like Wayne to just get up with one or two producers and just grind out a dope EP or something. Not even trying to make a big hit. Just get with Mannie Fresh, Alchemist, or hell even 9th Wonder said he's like to do something with Wayne. Flip the script and just forget about trying to make a hit and at least get back on making raw shyt. I think he sounds great over sampled beats. But even if he can't link with some of the producers doing full collab albums these days, or Mannie Fresh...I don't know the down south producers like I do the rest, but there has to be some dope producers that can give Wayne some heat that he sounds good on.

He'll never be huge again but I think he could make a dope comeback.
