When a song is super popular then a member of flabby gang comes on here and says “WHO” but if they literally just took a step outside they’d hear the song everywhere

When they complain that where they live sucks. Locals say that everywhere you go, grass isn't greener, that dream home in the city of you dreams got people across the street from it who ain't never been nowhere saying it sucks there too. Everywhere has shytty things about it

You can usually tell by their sensibilities and their small minded disposition. I’m from the hood and “never been anywhere” growing up and here were the symptoms that I was displaying:

  • I judged everyone and everything based on the rules of my block…I had a hood-centered world view. It was a very rudimentary way of examining things: tough/not tough, gangster/square, been to jail/haven’t been to jail…literally everything I would experience in the world would be examined through a “hood” lens which made a lot of things not make sense. What I learned as my mind expanded is that none of this shyt even matters.
  • Since I judged everyone and everything based on hood sensibilities, I also conducted myself as such. No matter where I was at, I would act in a way that would be acceptable in my hood not understanding that there are other ways of living. My behaviors at times would alienate others because it was hood but to me it was normal so I never knew I was acting in a way that was detestable to others.
  • Everything possible went through the “Would a real nikka do this” filter.
    • Would a real nikka kayak on the ocean? No, save that for the white boys.
    • Would a real nikka eat Naples-style at a quaint Italian restaurant for brunch? No, that shyt is corny.
    • Would a real nikka buy a mountain bike a ride down a mountain at 40 miles an hour. No, that’s some white boy shyt.
    • Would a real nikka fukk that stank bytch on the block? Hell yeah.
    • Would a real nikka light up this joint? Hell yeah.
    • WOuld a real nikka eat this dollar menu Taco Bell. Hell yeah.
