People across the country need to look at SF / Bay Area as the canary in the cole mine. I know the situation is unique because it revolves around tech and building restrictions (specifically in SF), but it needs to be looked at as a learned lesson for cities across the country

it has to be the most dystopian place in the country. you got people paying $4000/month for a small apartment they may have never even seen before signing a lease, some paying the year in cash. private busses picking up select people at public stops, and uber eats drones flying sushi over the heads of starving people sleeping on the sidewalk. its truly disgusting

It's already happening in a ton of other places. Also, that's not how capitalism works. People prioritize the cash and worry about the outcomes later.

If all the tech companies just uproot and leave let the property market crash in on itself maybe it can change... just an idea...

Yeah but nikkas with CDL’s eating out chea. Better do like i did and buy a house in Plugerville, Hutto, Cedar Park, or by the airport. If your credit straight and got 10gz to put down on a crib your monthly payment gonna be about $1100 monthly for a big ass 3 bedroom/ 2 story crib. fukk staying in the city. Dont nobody want to deal with all that traffic and its only a 15-20 min ride to get in the city anyway. nikkas getting 10 thousand dollar signing bonuses straight out of truck driving school here in Texas. Get all your certifications and you can make 80 grand a year easily. fukk around drive them trucks carry oil & gas down to the oil fields and you can make 100-200gz a year going back and forth to H Town to Laredo. Easy money. Young nikkas with big ass cribs, nice whips, and playing with money (Campers, Boats, bikes, etc).
