Not having the August 31st waivers deadline doesnt help them at all.If they think they can pull off the Yankees soft rebuild from a couple of years ago then they are sadly mistaken.
Moving it back to July 31st makes it a "shyt or get off the pot" now or never situation for alot of these teams in both leagues that will be hovering or around .500
Even looking at thier current tradable assests on the major & minor league levels if they decided to make a serious run is comedic.

Duran & a bunch of 40 FV lottery tickets that's either too young to be taken serious as a serious chip or are too old for thier level & are hurt.
