And again as much as I want to shyt on Cashman I can't blame him.

So basically the Mets did that trade to fukk us over. Wow!

If it hasn't been apparent for years now, every team with some leverage will try to tax us more than other teams. We know that. Cashman knows that, but still he ends right up in the same predicament every year. Spend the money and supplement the team from free agency and the farm. No need to trade with these folks.

That being said, unless there's a drastic turnaround in the SP rotation, unless Sevy, Betances, and Stanton all come back at 100% effectiveness, it's gonna be a short postseason for this team.

4 is what they got for Grienke and they felt like Ray should equal the same amount of prospects as well?

This season will play out pretty hilariously for us Yankees' fans. The meltdowns to come won't even be worth it.

I'm waiting for the offseason when Cole is on the market and they find another excuse not to pay the going rate for a top SP, but...can take on a Stanton albatross contract that he definitely will underperform.

Houston gave up WAAYYY better quality to get Greinke. It's not even in the same stratosphere.

They don’t wanna hand out contracts longer than 5 years to starters which is code for “we’ve been fukked over too many times by free agent arms to keep trying.”

The Keuchel thing comes from their analytics department not being high on him (to that I say, well then who is this arm and does he only exist in your algorithms?”). If those guys were Gray and Paxton, then they’re making gross oversights on mental makeup.

Basically our season rests on someone other than Tanaka showing up in October and this team getting timely hits. That wouldn’t have been fixed outside of getting MadBum. Is it possible? Yes. Do we have any confidence? No. We only have confidence in Tanaka and he looks terrible now. A healthy dominant Severino wouldn’t inspire confidence in y’all

I'm fairly optimistic that they'll go after Cole regardless of cost.

That's the one single FA outside of betances that I'm 50/50 on wether they'll sign or not.

I'm not convinced they'll resign Gregorious though.
