He should of pair Corbin breh he banked it all on Paxton having a good year , sevy being back by after star break and cc not being done . He put himself into a position where teams could extort him

Damn that was fukking heartrate inducing watching Chapman lately. Blue Jays got some young hitters. I gotta say though, Chapman is not someone I would add years onto his contract. If the top speed on his fastball reaches 97 or lower, he's done unless he develops a better slider or another pitch.

This year could end up being like 1996 (with a bit of 2009 mixed in). In 1996, nobody thought that the Yankees would be able to beat the Braves with Smoltz, Glavine and Maddux.

Atlanta had just came off a WS win and the Yankees on paper did not have as good of a pitching staff. Yet, we all know how '96 (and '99) ended .


The only difference of course it that we would be facing the Astros in the ALCS because they're also in the AL.



MLB needs for there to be a Yankees-Dodgers World Series in 2019. It's crazy to think that last time the Yankees & Dodgers faced each other in a World Series was almost 40 years ago (1981). Yankees-Dodgers in 2019 would get prime time ratings especially if it goes 7 games (easily over 50 million viewers for a Game 7 of Yankees-Dodgers in 2019)
