Haven’t been keeping up with him this season. Is he washed? I thought he slimmed down and got healthy? Is he missing games or is he just buns on the court?:jbhmm:

On a minute restriction and systemically still killing and as unstoppable as ever tho.
Still the best skill player.
to watch in the league.

I think quite a few teams would take a flyer on him if the price is low enough. Is it any pick and whatever contracts it takes to match salaries?

What if the Suns offered Jalen Green and Maluach?

Portland could send back Jerami Grant for Zion.

The Kings could send them Lavine for Zion and Looney. :mjlol:

The Clippers could piece something together but that might be the last place he should go with all their dysfunction.

Dallas could send them Gafford, Klay and Caleb Martin for Zion.

Chicago could offer Vuc and Huerter's expirings.

Miami has contracts like Jovic, Rozier (if he's allowed to be traded) and Fontecchio. They always roll the dice with talent.

Nic Claxton straight up to send Zion to Brooklyn?

Kuminga, Moody and Buddy for Zion and Missi works after January 15th. I could see GS being desperate enough for a hail mary on Zion.

I'm not sure how it's possible, but his jumpshot frequency outside the paint has actually decreased since when he first came into the league.

This is, admittedly, a very rudimentary way to look at it…but…

Is Zion Williamson effectively just a no-range Center playing Power Forward in 2026?

Because we have seen guys post high efficiency in the paint, with little impact at all anywhere else on the floor.

If I look at the career all time leaders in 2P%, it’s a list of recognizable names, sure. But very few who actually moved the needle or were the cornerstones of any championship teams.

He's actually been playing at the 5 a lot more lately with the Pels opting to play small ball (he and Herbert Jones have been interchangeable in the frontcourt), and it's seemingly been the most effective placement for him because he's surrounded by ball-handlers and floor spacers. It's certainly not the best case scenario in the long term for the team; he'll forever be in a weird space purely because he's going to have limitations no matter what position he plays.
