I don't even care for J's like that and never owned a pair, but I WILL own the Jordan XII's in crimson.....

The response among the fan base is typical.... Under 40 and college recruits are hyped. Over 40 (especially CAC's) are FURIOUS! They generally hate change, especially when it comes to the football jersey because it is iconic.

OU joins the University of North Carolina and the University of Michigan as official promoters.

That is correct. I don't know why media outlets are running with OU being the third school. My only guess is that OU is the third school that has football and basketball(men's and women's)sponsored by Jordan. Marquette Football is still under Nike and Georgetown doesn't have a football program.... perhaps, they are talking about the third from one of the power 5 conferences.
