It's not even that but when we do donate, we line the pockets of the white folks that run these organizations and literally pennies get sent to those in need.
The little person actors in Nigeria (two of em actually, you know who I mean) and South Africa are hilarious. At least one of em was in the first dozen African-made movies I watched. @funny clip and it touches on a real issue.
^That is also true, as far as real fraud. There's a video of a White guy in Africa making casual reference to it, like..to paraphrase, 'If you're looking to scam charity money, you can build an NGO (non-governmental organization) around this issue"

I remember reading that a lot of African countries have to do a lot of proper tourism advertising to combat the negative view people have of Africa as a whole. But there are quite a few poor countries that end up being exploited.
