No kid is going to want a Wii u for their birthday or Christmas.

It would be like telling your Mom I want a football game in the past and her bypassing Madden (Xbox 1), NFL 2k (ps4) and buying like NFL quarterback club (Wii u) because its cheaper

Nintendo had a solid showing, but they dropped the ball.

They should have:
Had an E3 conference showing all the heat they did (They showed many good titles)
Drop the price to $200 for the "deluxe" model
shyt on Microsoft and Sony about DRM and have Reggie walk off stage hit em up style taking shots at everyone, even Nintendo fans criticizing them

That's what Nintendo needs. Change the culture of the company.

Terrible..didnt think about it this way. For the people that say that ninty is going afrer a different market, I would have agreed with you last gen, but not this gen, where they seemed to be trying to get that hardcore demographic back.
They sold so many Wiis cause the motion crap was all the rage then. THis system, however, does not have any such crutch to help it stand up. The tablet thing was likely in response to the ipad, but the Wii cannot push good graphics to both screens, so it is almost useless besides being a map or inventory list.

Then the new 1st party games look decent, but arent groundbreaking, AT ALL. On top of that THEY WONT BE READY TILL '14. I feel that Nintendo will feel the heat this gen, and they deserve it.

When I was a kid I didn't have a say in my presents. I got what I got and if I wasn't happy with it then I didn't get shyt. Kids ain't the people who decide. It's the parents......and honestly, if I had a kid I wouldn't be buying him consoles who's games only focus on shooting people the entire time.

That said, I'm getting a PS4 and Wii U cause I'm grown.
