Man it's so sad that people are so brainwashed by their political party that they will back this garbage and welcome their own enslavement. These elites supposedly care so much about global warming and carbon and yet they have huge mansions, fly around in jets and generally just use up more resources than anyone else. If the were so concerned about the environment, they would put their money where their mouth is and significantly reduce their own so-called 'carbon footprint'. They just want the power that will come from instituting some things such as a carbon tax.

Except it is a plot for them to 'take over the world'. It's called using a crisis to put your own devious machinations in order. Having the UN, which essentially a global body, be able to impose carbon taxes on nations does give them global power.

These elites still have their massive mansions, ride around in these yachts, fly private jets and generally just use up way more resources than the rest of the population. That shows you how much they care about so-called 'climate change'.

Sorry, but to be honest you're too misinformed on the issue to even argue with. The fact that you think that the thousands of climatologists and scientists advocating that we address the issue (most of whom aren't rich) in the world are all part of some conspiracy pretty much shows you're beyond rationality on the topic. :yeshrug:

All I'll say is that the UN can't "impose" a carbon tax on anybody, it's voluntary and always has been. Ranting about "elites" is a distraction and doesn't change the underlying problem.

I don't think there are any normal rational ppl arguing AGAINST climate change though.

To me that is just a lazy response ppl want to throw out at ppl that don't agree that taxing, or that aimlessly throwing money at the UN is going to solve the issues.

also, most ppl aren't denying the scientists that say that climate is change is happening, many ppl (scientists included) do however, have disagreements on how much impact humans have on climate change.

now, the message the UN and these "elites" are throwing out there is that giving them our money will solve climate change.
they aren't providing REAL solutions, nor are they demonstrating these behaviors in their own lives/countries, etc.

this Paris Accord is garbage, and just a (another) way to suck money out of countries, and tax payers in rich countries to feed more corruption. It doesn't change anything.

The same people crying about "elites" are the same ones who support capitalism :laff:
what is your counter to capitalism?

socialism?

I don't think anyone will say that capitalism is a perfect way to run a society, but it sure is the best option that we have.
