It's the truth, we have incredible consuming power. If African Americans contributed all their spending power, we would be the 16th richest nation that's what the numbers show and a movie with 150 mill budget would need cross cultural support to succeed.

With that said, black people not supporting the movie is just a factor. No way in the world is "1/16th" the difference maker, though. Maybe the movie just wasn't good.
