Why would China want so many of there students in America? China is smarter, graduates more engineers, and has a cheaper cost of living.

I had a group of chinese exchange students come into my college when i was there
I was NOT impressed
They were cheating openly. Like with zero tact. Just speaking chinese in test at each other like we wouldnt know. If you cant cheat without bringing attention to yaself. Good luck in life.
Tho… maybe they knew more than me cuz all us americans were looking at professor like “REALLY?” She didnt do shyt. Just kept shushing them.
What was gonna happen? An entire group of chinese students would fail? Yea right. Not in college utopia land. They prolly got +10 for being from a socialist country.
They reminded me of indians tbh. The zero social awareness.
American chinese are waaaaaaay ahead of reg china chinese. Even they looked at them like “have some dignity in front of the whites”

Chinese students come here because there is too much competition in China. There’s more opportunity here with the breadth of universities and research positions we have. That’s it

An Indian doctor told me the same thing, they have some highly competitive universities in India.
They only send spies abroad.

Isn’t bailing out universities so they don’t go out of business the very definition of socialism? Doesn’t sound very capitalist to me, supposed to let them fail . Free market and all
