Like when? He's the one known to regress during the postseason. If anything his teammates should be pissed at him for those missed opportunities
Like that other ring he got throwing 3 TDs and 9 INTs :comeon:
He's had defenses, receivers, o-lines and backs under-perform in the postseason, lost the coin toss in all three of his OT postseason games (all losses), Vanderjagt missed FGs in TWO different postseasons during the 4th quarter/OT with the scores tied or down 1-3 points - which led to losses, dropped passes from main receivers: #88, Clark and Wayne at pivotal moments (one of note was Garcon in SBXLIV against NO which could have had the Colts leading 17-3 - follow-on effect of Porter INT probably wouldn't have existed - with Manning winning a ring), blown routes from receivers leading to incompletions or INTs, lack of running attack (Addai's #s dropped significantly in the postseason) - which goes with an over reliance on a passing game - making his teams too one-dimensional, banged up and/or average defenses getting tired down the stretch and giving away penalties on go-ahead drives, five of his 11 postseason losses were to teams who went on to win the SB, his defenses being exposed after coverups during the regular season by the high-powered offense, o-line breakdowns which led to Manning forcing passes, penalties from teammates which directly led to Manning changing/overcompensating for lost yardage, challenges overturned by Colts' opponents (2000 playoffs - Wilkins' 87-yard punt return into the redzone.was brought back for stepping out of bounds - #88 gives away penalty on 1st down, followed by Manning completing a pass for 11 yards - brought back for offensive holding, forcing the Colts into 2/3 long with the Titans forcing them into a punt all during the 4th quarter trailing by seven points).

The list is endless.

:dwillhuh:You could honestly do this for any qb that has lost any game ever.

Except for the fact that 99% of them haven't been in the league as long or had as many unfortunate runs/situations as Manning has. I mean the point in me even saying "he was repaid with a ring, after all the seasons he put in work and didn't win due to bad luck or teammates not performing" was in relation to this -
At least Brady earned it.

Alex Smith could have done what Peyton did.
Meaning the odds are - he's been in the league long enough, and gone through so much misfortune (relative to his lack of postseason success and how many years he's been playing) trying to carry a team's hopes that he was "repaid" with simply riding in the backseat and getting a ring. Manning earned this ring, by all the mileage he's had in this league and all the times where his teams have come up short - that's the way I'm looking at it. Yeah he may have lucked up on being carried by one of the best defenses in the last 20+ years, but let's not act like he hasn't been carrying them for most of his career.

Could you have imagined the meltdowns if marshawn would have gotten super bowl mvp last year and cam won this year? :mjcry:

Twitter would have been amazing :mjcry:

Worst outcome for me as a fan. I'm more a Manning fan than a Brady fan.

I wanted Cam to win obviously, but wouldn't be as mad as if it were against Brady.

However, both of them played terrible. So its kinda like Manning didn't even "win" and Cam not playing well means the L will linger. :mjcry:
