We had a good run family, had a record of 48-34 and 6th in the east and were a few minutes in game 6 from making it to the 2nd round. We faced alot of adversity this season with our young defensive star MKG dealing with 2 injuries this season and several roster changes in the middle of the season. Kemba emerged as a true cornerstone that can lead the squad, Frank got some good playoff experience his first year and Cliff finally got his system in place and cracking. Things looking up family :blessed:

Here's our coach Cliff reflecting on the season that was.

But damn half our squad about to be on the market this Offseason :damn: !!!
My nikka Cho has made it pretty damn clear that Nic Batum is our #1 priority for the Offseason come July. We also have players like Al Jefferson and Jeremy Lin who are about to be free agents, but have stated that they would love to return to The Hornets.

So we in a good position brehs, we have a strong core of Kemba, MKG, and Batum. All we really need to add is some toughness and rebounding in the hole and we have the possibility to make some serious noise next season. There are several attractive free agents that could fill that void this Offseason and for the first time in a while Hornet fans can look forward to improving over the Offseason.

Aight brehs lets celebrate the season that was and look forward to what could be next year

breh shyt makes no legit sense, he has way more utility than fukkin Hasbrough who sat and rotted on our bench... I may just have to chaulk it up to MJ being on his :mjpls:
I *understand* why we let him go, but its hopefully just another lesson for the front office.

Biyombo is a COMPLETE offensive liability, at the same time though he was directly competing with Zeller's minutes. Its dumb but.... Zeller is a legit defender for 80% of the bigs in the league. Biz is the rare type who can handle the other 20%.

Thing is, our 4 out offense just can't function with Biyombo. We saw it for years. Even though Zeller gathers like my grandma, he's still WAY better at diving after the screen than Biz ever was. Also, Biyombo can't defend without fouling - something our team prides itself on.

Biz is a good guy too but.... meh. Hansborough underperformed more than biyombo surprised imo. Hansborough was supposed to be able to hit a mid-range shot or two after the pass. Never did all year. Biyombo simply functioned better in a team with more conventional lineups - he got to be out there with other reliable bigs in comparison to how our rotations always panned out here.

Instead of Hansborough, look at Hawes. I'd honestly say that Hawes had the same sort of positive overall impact that Biz would've provided over the course of the season. For as many good plays as Biyombo makes, we all know that he's got more bad ones waiting.

Still could've kept him though.
