Bill Belichick Record, Statistics, and Category Ranks | Pro-Football-Reference.com

His record is his record. He was a losing coach without Brady. He got fired.

I need to see him stand on his own and maintain the same excellence without the GOAT. Because I remember when he was Jeff Fisher status...without the SB appearance Jeff had. He was headed for career as a white coach retread and He "plugged in" Brady and has rode him since.

As far as the Matt Cassell season, a "great" coach is SUPPOSED to get a GOOD ***TEAM*** to the postseason with a QB who can handoff and complete basic NFL passes. If Beli was what y'all need him to be to diminish Tom, he'd have WON IT without Tom.

So, if y'all so confident, let's see how he looks when the Brady Bus stops running.

A coach shouldn't need to prove himself by winning with a QB that isn't good. It's an unfair prerequisite.

Eventually, he gotta win it with someone else for Brady-hate to be true. It's reasonable.

Browns whole franchise was in ruins when he left, midway through the season the fukking owner announces theyre moving to Baltimore lmao. Middle of the damn season. That team never had a chance

He built that squad and won a playoff game with them. Turned them into a defense force that year they won 11. Belis base is his defense, that's his background. That's why the Browns won 11 with him

Dude was the DC for two superbowl winning Giants teams that were best in the league in D too

He could do just fine without Tom, cmon now, this is silly

Belichick has had quite a bit of success being around system quarterbacks.

Phil Simms
Jeff Hostetler
Vinny Testaverde
Tom Brady
Matt Cassel
Jimmy Garoppolo
Jacoby Brissett

Only Bledsoe was a proven NFL star QB without him. And he got hurt 1 game into his 2nd season under Belichick.
Even as mostly a defense-minded coach coming up, he's always observed and wanted the "don't fukk it up" types of QBs.

It's just facts, b.

The only reason they even had an offensive explosion in 07 is because of the greatness of Randy Moss. Because lord knows the running game wasn't anything to write home about.
The defense was what carried them (4th in the league)...because that's really the primary focus that Belichick has.

This whole GOATness of Tom Brady in the most wide-open offensive era of football in history is a joke.
Belichick had supposed powerhouse offenses in 2007 and 2011 and got beat by some of the most mediocre Giants teams to ever reach the playoffs.

Dude's teams aint even on Marv Levy's Bills level.
Put those Pats in any one of those 1990-1996 Super Bowls and they get washed. Every time.
