The Opening Act on another nikka tour is part of a Big 3? 😂🤣

OP thirsting for engagement🤷🏽‍♂️

Hip Hop is definitely dead when a Bisexual nikka and some other goofy called the “G String Dracula” are 2/3 of the “Big 3”.

The Big three wasn’t JUST about numbers it was impact, acclaim, and cultural relevance. Otherwise someone like Travis Scott could have credibly claimed a big three position for years. But nobody would EVER take that seriously.

I think Carti makes trash music so I can’t speak on if his numbers are indicative of cultural relevance and true impact but I assume someone will make the argument.

Travis himself would probably not even put himself in that position.

This is for dudes with an old school mindset, who wanna be the top dog in the culture.

Just like when people were talking Nas, X and Jay, nobody was saying.. what about Nelly?

Longer albums (actually, albums with a high number of songs) have been confirmed to be a massive advantage in the dsp era. It's considered as a way to manipulate streaming charts. They're struggling to find a way to fight this.

It's specially true when fans discover a brand new album for the first time. They realized most of these albums only get 1 or 2 full listens by most people (only fans will replay it several times) so if your album have 20 songs, it will generate more sales than a 10 track album.

I remember Billboard mentioning Drake as an artist whose numbers weren't very impressive all things considered.
I guess I'm just losing touch with Billboard/commercial type of music :yeshrug:

But now I saw that Taylor Swifts album had like 35 songs with all the deluxes :mjlol:
Or Sza basically dropping a new album and calling it a reissue? :wtf:

I get the deluxe hack, as in dropping a new album and adding those sales to your previous album. But this other shyt, I'll google their reasoning

and she releases different variants of the same album :lupe:
Carti just did the same thing, just dropped 2 new versions with different tracks, all counting for the same album lol...
Theres like 33 or 34 tracks, only 1 will debut inside the top 10... :dead:

Billboard and them gotta judge every album that moves like gold or platinum on a case by case basis. Can't write regulations to capture this type of master class finessing
