Got a call from my Uncle today. It was a 45 minutes conversation about all the stuff he has going on and bunch of stuff from like 30 years ago.

He was talking like I'm still the 12 year old nephew I was in 1996 or whatever.

He had no interest in having a genuine conversation or knowing about anything I have going on.

As a result, most of what he said went in one ear and out the other. I could care less, basically.

That's what it's like being coached by all these "gold jackets" they keep talking about.
