Now they have a new piece discussing the genius superiority of Jews which is the soft-sell for the elephant in the room discussion of racial intelligence. Discussing it in a Jewish context is believed to be the safe route to avoid backlash to getting the meat of the matter which is white supremacy since Jews have some perception as a unique minority ethnic group. This is what the Overton window is being moved to

it's the opinion section ... for opinions.
I can't wait for the piece from David Duke and Jared Taylor. Not all opinions are created equal.

I feel I shouldn't even have to make this analogy...

Sounds like he got called out

the guy is a pos and troll

let him hang himself with op-ed's

Don't let Bret trigger you
I'm not triggered but I'm happy that my money isn't going to his salary.

The issue is, for the past year or two the OpEd section has pushed multiple articles in either the Scientific Racism or white grievance vein. Mainly because they are trying to appeal to Trump voters and white nationalists.

To undermine a paper because of a bad op ed is non reasonable, and reflects some lack of foundational understanding of how an outlet like The Times or WSJ works.

No one should mistake Stephens for a progressive, but I would give him the benefit of the doubt that he isn't a racist, and doesn't truly believe in Eugenics, in the worst sense of the words.

How about David Brooks, Thomas Friedman and Maureen Dowd who have all worked there for decades and all suck.
How about letting a reporter write fake articles for years where he is supposed to be going to out of state locations and never left his apartment? And it took a long time to catch him
Or what about letting a columnist use the Bush administration as a source for Saddam having WMD and then the Bush administration pointing to the same NYT's columnist as a reason to go to war.
The paper is living off a reputation they no longer deserve for decades. It's really now just a rag for snobs and wannabe elite snobs to talk about the long ass pieces they had the patience to sit there and read and then they slap each other on the back for not falling asleep instead.

Like i said this isn't the first article pushing race and iq. They've done this several times since getting a new editor about two years ago.

I'm not the only one who noticed the trend btw.
This one is from 2018

It's still a great paper but their op-ed section is becoming a complete cess-pool like WSJ and they give the opinion section prime real estate on their app to push disingenuous nonsense. Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you should be given a national platform like NYT to spew it and the editorial board is responsible for promoting/allowing this trash.

My view on it. I won't be subsidizing it and voted with my dollars. If I do read the articles it will be reposts or free somehow. After not just the David Reich article and another one I can remember not too long ago along with multiple pieces basically apologizing for rural whites bigotry I killed my subscription of it.
