Only reason why Aries is not ppppin is.
Aries had to put over that bum Corbin.
Directly, on entrance to nxt and did not get the hot feud with the WWE endorsed Indy guy in nxt.

Plus, WWE does not want to turn him on.

Just curious, how do you figure he's generic?

He's one of the most versatile guys in the game

He can wrestle a slow pace match.
He can wrestle fast pace matches.

He can brawl, he can do the flippity fly shyt, he can chain wrestle, he can do the submission game shyt, and even though he's a smaller guy he can work a strongman style and pick up guys like a fat Bubba Ray or Gallows.

He can be a charismatic face or a true heel that gets real heat and when he wants to can be the "cool heel"

His promo skills are solid too

Hell Aries is one of the few dudes out there that you can say "theres really nothing he CANT do"
