Premo had that phase in the late 00s where every beat was some version of Nas Is Like with diminishing returns but I feel like his shyt in the last few years has been the most interesting stuff he's done in a while, so he averted it.

Yeah, he went through a period where his beats were redundant during that time.

I don't care for Russ but this song is huge :yeshrug:

It's been 18 years and he's still getting radio play.

Surprisingly decent beat. and great concept.

Russ wasted it tho :snoop:

Btw... No one wants to say it but Mannie Fresh fell the fukk off really bad. I thought he was going to be able to pull it off after CM and he did good here and there up until maybe 09.

on this board? They'd rather stalk you over it :russ:

Mannie Fresh was always trash. He has like 1 or 2 great beats, 5 or 6 decent beats and the rest is :russell: and :trash: Woat producer discog.

Drumma Boy he use to be on some of the hottest tracks.

Yeah. To be fair, Drumma Boy, like Toomp, has made actual classics. Scarface's "Never" and Jeezy's "Standing Ovation" come to mind. Even Pastor Troy's "Will He Come Home Tonight" is decent.

Just Blaze. Lord Knows sounded dated as fukk.

that beat was never good.

Drake in general didn't have stellar production till NWTS
