That's fine, but I'd much rather just do a salary dump for expirings and 2nds than just trading him for what they got. They are locked into the same team next year

What happens if Fox doesn't land in San Antonio? They just had no plan and really helped Spurs facilitate a trade using our best asset to get Fox without them having to give up anything.

If that trade doesn't happen, then the Bulls really would have done things drastically different because losing that 1st was clearly not an option to AK which he admitted to after the fact

the bulls should NOT outbid themselves to retain giddy. given the few teams who have adequate cap space to acquire and pay him what he wants as a RFA, they need to let the market set his value.

I wouldn't even care if they got him back on the qualifying offer. matter of fact, that'd be a best case scenario.

I don’t get this tank talk… it was impossible for us to do so. I remember before we got hot we lost like 8 in a row and didn’t move down as a seed.

It wasn't impossible.

We lost 6 in a row in February, which really didn't matter because other teams had already pulled the trigger on tanking. We came into the season with the goal of making the playoffs and tried to switch after every other potential lottery team said fukk it.

We could've gotten rid of Zach and Vuc before the season or said fukk it completely and traded Vuc and Coby at the deadline.

Patrick Williams and Dalen Terry would have been awesome tank commanders.

Pat only does anything without anyone else playing anyway. Bulls would have been able to make him look like he actually can play if they went in that direction. Don't add players like THT, Jalen Smith, Huerter, Tre Jones or Collins... just play Julian Phillips, Matas, Pat, Dalen etc and you are not fukking winning 39 games
