have you lost a lot of friends growing up, not because of something tragic like death, but just from growing apart?

just got invited to my boys wedding and I don't even feel like going. haven't talked to dude in YEARS..shyts crazy tho he used to be my best friend when we were kids. feels like a lifetime ago now. its funny how you can just lose touch like that. happened with a lot of high school friends too..

One of my closest cousins growing up moved away when his parents got divorced. His mom is white and he went "that way" in life. That'll always be blood but he don't listen to hip hop, don't speak ebonics, and plus the distance... shyt will never be the same.
