I think I'm going to stand with the OP on this one under a few stipulations... You are handling business with school and you're not lying to your parents. I, somewhat, agree with the posters that said that are a little selfish and dodging responsibility. I expect a lot of fonts not to agree with what I'm about to say because a lot of you came from homes were you parent(s) didn't have as much financial stability as the average family and your parent(s) were rushing or kicking you out as soon as you turned 18. The average financial stable family can support children in the home until 25(or until they finish their undergrad studies or start a business) and generally they do so until their children are finished with school and into their careers. This is how you build generational wealth. That is one of the main problems we(as black people) can't collectively build wealth. Even among wealth families, children have the financial support they need until they get to where they're going and if they fukk up, then they get cut off.
Basically, I kinda agree with the OP. As long as he's handling business.
