You know whats worse than a wedding thats not open bar?

A wedding that is open bar, but everybody that was invited is opposed to drink, and when the groom offers to have a drink with you. one of his relatives comes to your table scolds you and says that's inappropriate and you shouldn't be drinking.

Actually had some bullshyt like that happen to once. Imagine only getting a sip at an open bar and then being guilted to death over it.

I went to a wedding where the groom was a pastor and recovering alcoholic who would get drunk and beat the bride. But they didn’t tell anyone there wouldn’t be any drinks before event. So we all got there wondering why there wasn’t a bar at all.

And once the info got out we were all sitting there wondering why she was marrying someone who beats her.

Apparently she didn’t agree with the no alcohol stance and pre-gamed with the bridesmaids before the ceremony.
