‘Nurse Jackie’ & ‘Weeds’ Sequels In Works At Showtime With Original Stars & Robert Greenblatt

Showtime is looking to bring back two of its signature comedy series, Nurse Jackie and Weeds.

The Weeds revival would be written and executive produced by Christian Torpe, creator of the popular Danish series Rita, and would feature Nancy (Parker) in Copenhagen, I hear.

I don’t know what happened to Showtime. At this point it wouldn’t shock me if they had a Yellowjackets sequel series and another L Word spinoff already greenlit for 2041.

this does not interest me. I lost interest when their suburb burned down and all the black characters were no longer on the show.

I remember some of the later season episodes becoming so outlandish, it was no longer watchable.

Yeah, I loved the first few seasons. But I didn’t even finished the series.

Weeds and The Walking Dead are the only two shows I remember really being into and not even bothering to finish despite already investing a lot of time in them

Weeds seasons 1-3 were classic. When they got rid of Conrad & Heylia/left the suburbs, the show went down hill. They need to bring them back for the sequel. And why the hell would they have her set up shop in Copenhagen???
