AEW dropped to 1,018,000 viewers on TNT while NXT dropped to 795,000 viewers.

In the all-important 18-49 demo, AEW managed to get a 0.46 while NXT got a 0.22. In both cases, it's nothing to sneeze about for either show.

Edit: The AEW show was simulcasted on Tru TV and managed to garner 122,000 viewers so they really had 1,140,000.

I watch NXT and only turn on AEW during NXT commercials.

They are very closely synced on commercials I noticed.

AEW won again, that's good for them. The drop was expected but to keep it at over a mill is positive. If they can continue and grow those numbers long term it bodes well.

Tna was around for 7 years
And did the same numbers with the addition of Hoegan RVD jeff hardy etc
Good for aeW

What will matter is the average numbers they do over the course of a time period. Various things can effect an individual week. What they want is the shyt to be growing and moving in the right direction over a time period. If it consistently keeping dropping, especially if it's below a million regularly that would be a a cause for concern. At the moment it's a good start. They could have easily started at 600 thousand or less even. They started off very well, the first show was always going to do bigger numbers than the average views. I actually don't think the first show was that great, this past 1 I thought was very good.

Yeah it's a good start, they are so new, a year ago this shyt didn't even exist and now they are doing million plus views on national TV and even internationally getting views too. The key is momentum and progression, they need to maintain and go forward with what they do. They may have rough patches but got to be strong and not panic, focus on quality and promoting and everything else will fall into place. Steady storytelling leading to huge pay offs, the huge pay offs would end up increasing the ratings if it's all done right.
