Bettor guaranteed at least $1,900 on a $25 parlay in NCAA final - 04-08-2013

Imagine being guaranteed a payout of $1900 at worst and over $3000 at best on a pair of $25 wagers no matter who wins the NCAA national championship game tonight.

That's the spot one savvy bettor finds himself in after making a pair of NCAA championship and Super Bowl parlay wagers back in mid-January.

Mike Toldo from London, Ontrario placed a pair of futures parlays, both for $25, at bet365 - one that included the Baltimore Ravens at 8-1 to win the Super Bowl combined with Louisville at 15-2 to win the national championship and another with the Ravens parlayed with Michigan at 14-1.

The first bet pays $1,912.50 with a Louisville win tonight and the latter pays an impressive $3,375 if Michigan wins.

"Once the Ravens pulled off their amazing last second win against Denver (in the wild card playoff round) I decided that +800 odds were too good to pass up," Toldo explained to us. "I chose Louisville in college basketball because they returned one of the deepest teams in the country from last year's tournament run, they have a hall of fame coach and one of the best players in the country in Russ Smith."

Good move considering Louisville entered the tournament as the favorite with odds of 3-1 or worse depending on which book you chose.

Toldo decided to do up another ticket for the same amount, this time replacing Louisville for the Maize and Blue.

"I chose Michigan at +1400 because in my opinion they were one of the best teams in the country, but that wasn't being reflected in the odds," Toldo said. "The other major factor was that I am a die hard Michigan fan and have waited for a Final Four run for the past 20 years. I figured how cool would it be if they make a run and I have a ticket alive for $3375?"

Very cool.

As if Toldo's day wasn't going well enough already, he also said he wins $390 in a bracket pool if Louisville wins. So add that to the Ravens-Cardinals Super Bird parlay and he's looking at a minimum of nearly $2,300 if Louisville is victorious tonight.

Here's a look at his tickets from bet365:
