this is what i mean.. they got no more educated in the music BUSINESS as day 1. still looking for a check and the label to do all the work.. even when it's painfully obvious that indy or major, the artists these days still have to do all the damn work

Some people just don't get it and still believe that labels still have to pamper them. Not just the LOX. A lot of the older MCs learned the hard way that you have to grind on ya own to build ya name and fanbase. Some MCs just don't have the work ethic to actually TOUR year-round.

Facts: i never said the lox were supposed to sell 7 million. I never said ALL THAT could help them or anyone sell 7 million.
I gave a list of reasons as to why i felt the lox were pathetic for doing the numbers they did and i stand by that.
For the record,sales arent everything. I dont believe sales alone determine how good an artists is.
It's the context as to how bad the lox did that make them so pathetic.
They were given chances rappers dream about and they did bad,simple as that.

They were also featured on this album that is said to have went 3x's plat but was last certified at 2 x's plat in 2001. I could picture it being triple plat

THe lox come back and go gold. That's awful fukking losers deserved to be judged amongst the circles they were in. Not as obscure artists whom "werent for the mainstream" tthem nikkas were mainstream and couldnt hack it. they were urban mainstream. they werent middle america mainstream like puff, mase & the ghost of biggie getting dead rapper promotion.

like i said, they did what they were supposed to. their ONE commercial single was some chit you would hear at a hood party/club. it wasnt something that you would expect to get played at a white party.
