1. The media is where the majority of people go to to be informed. THAT is why those in power sought to control it. So that the media/news centers would not call them (as in those in REAL power not politicians) out on their BS. Simple and plain.

2. The "banking cartels" care about controlling celebrities because thats who the majority of people look up to and idolize. if you had a bunch of revolutionary Tupac's, Malcolm X's, Bob Marley's and Marcus Garvey celebrities going around, how do you think that would influence the people?
