The biggest problem with being black in America is identity. Obviously a chunk of it was taken away from us, and the fact we don't have our own language to talk about IN HOUSE ISSUES is our biggest detriment. Our internal problems and issues are put on front street for everyone to see and that's when you get the the divide and conquer powers that be to help piling on destroying our community. Everyone else has their own language to discuss things. It seems like anything we try to put together gets deflected and lost due to the fact that the wrong type of people know everything we're saying.

Its a shame that Blacks only think some of our issues are solely OUR issue. Some folk think dark skin light skin is a black problem not knowing hispanics and asians do that shyt as well. We're the laughing stock of social issues in the US. We're made to feel like we're a dysfunctional people and that it's our fault and many fall for it.

Will we ever adopt or create a language that we can call our own? I know theres a bigger picture to it but language is very important to a culture that we do not fully have/own.

Man, when I first started college in the US I was STUNNED at how people put their business out there, especially on social networks. :snoop: The problem is everyone in the US calls anyone a 'friend' so people tend to be more open, not just african americans.
